This is a newly opened restaurant in the center of Mountain View recently, and it’s surprisingly great. All the dishes we ordered were wonderful. Green beans are the most delicious ones I have ever eaten. The steamed buns are also great. Scallion oil noodles are also super delicious. I absolutely love this place. From now on, I won’t have to drive to Din Tai Fung and wait for several hours. Mr. Bao is a better choice.
This is truly a hidden treasure, so amazing! I long to taste the flavor of my hometown. Seeing the photos of the xiaolongbao in the previous comments, I immediately knew that this restaurant is definitely authentic. Everything is delicious beyond words – the making process of the xiaolongbao is simply perfect! The ratio of the wrapper, filling and soup is perfect, even better than some traditional restaurants in Shanghai.

The uniqueness of Mr. Bao Kitchen lies not only in the deliciousness of their steamed buns, but also in the fact that their fried dumplings (with a crispy crust and rich soup inside) are equally delicious. The Shanghai-style restaurant has always been a recommended choice for steamed buns, but because the other dishes there are mediocre, and Mr. Bao’s version is clearly superior.
